Baldies' Blog began originally in the UK by a 26 year old journalist with a blood cancer on a mission to inform the world about bone marrow donation.

He has since died, and I took on the cause of making cancer care more transparent for everybody.

Cancer is a disease that will touch everybody through diagnosis or affiliation: 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed and 1 in 3 woman will hear those words, "You Have Cancer."

I invite you to read how I feel along my journey and
how I am continuing to live a full life alongside my Hodgkin's lymphoma, with me controlling my cancer, not my cancer controlling me.

I hope that "Baldies' Blog" will prepare you to handle whatever life sends you, but especially if it's the message, "You Have Cancer."

I can only tell you my son was diagnosed "early" with the same disease February 15th 2008 and was put into treatment immediately - he went through the standard treatment and chemo and radiation was pronounced clear in October 2008 and it was back in December 2008... he then went through ICE in January 2009 through the Cleveland Clinic and February pronounced clear again and readied for 1st of a double stem cell translplant came out April 3rd and back in again in the May for the 2nd part of the double stem cell transplant - prounced clear in June by end July 2009 it was back ( only they trhe specialist didn't believe it and tested for everything else fungus etc. August 2009 was confirmed that it was back and was sent to Texas for the trial SGN 35 pronunced clear November 6th 2009 and was dead by Dec 3rd. about 18 months start to finish He really did have the experts and the standard treatments. So I am not sure that the delay with Hillary would have caused her not to be among the 95 or 80 percent . I believe those stats are irresponsible on the part of the medical community especially since I have been researching this disease world wide. I don't believe they take it seriously enough

What I have found out is that my son was extremely strong and his young body healed quickly with all the poisons that were pumped into him but that his body did not recognize the cancer as a threat and so actually helped the obscenity that took him from us.

I am still researching but my own thoughts are that refractory hodgkins is a different breed from HL and that there is a "another trigger" that is being missed - a bit like mopping up he water on the basement floor but not finding the cause of the leak ...

I believe in Chris's case it had something to do with "mono" and the epstein barr virus he contracted . but that is just me ......... and as his poor body fought to renew the healthy cells and went into overdrive it also pushed the cancer cells to multiply.... How Hilary dealt with that 13 times I cannot fathom my son was crushed and more despondent every time he was given the all clear only to be dealt the death sentence again..

I have also found out that although they put his death down as H1N1 that was not the case but in all probability it was APT acute pulmonary toxicity - the cancer had not progressed back again far enough to have killed him at the tiem he died ... it is a long story but his fiancee/wife was a Dr. and actually because of her 100% coverage and NO CAP ( even the trial was paid for) he got in quickly and had none of the issues your darling Hillary had to face. But even then the obscenity took another of the best of us.

I know exactly what you are going through and I am so sorry

I am hoping to be strong enough to write Chris medical story unfortuately I am not strong enough to relieve those memories at the moment

I have started on the journey - from the very beginning with my experience with the medical profession in the back and beyond under three different healthcare systems - it will take awhile so that I can finally document Chris' medical journey with HL

I so miss Hilary's knowledge

The Zune is focused on MB Star C3 being a portable media player. Not a web browser. It's not a game machine may in the future, will make it even better in these areas, but for now BMW GT1this is a great way to organize and play your music and videos, and is unsurpassed in this area. It makes the iPod are browsing the web and applications.Lexia 3 If the sound more convincing, may be your best option.
