Baldies' Blog began originally in the UK by a 26 year old journalist with a blood cancer on a mission to inform the world about bone marrow donation.

He has since died, and I took on the cause of making cancer care more transparent for everybody.

Cancer is a disease that will touch everybody through diagnosis or affiliation: 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed and 1 in 3 woman will hear those words, "You Have Cancer."

I invite you to read how I feel along my journey and
how I am continuing to live a full life alongside my Hodgkin's lymphoma, with me controlling my cancer, not my cancer controlling me.

I hope that "Baldies' Blog" will prepare you to handle whatever life sends you, but especially if it's the message, "You Have Cancer."

Obligatory Celebrating

I was in such a funk this past month with my test results, and my families’ reaction, and their struggling, and my health issues, and the researching into finding a cure for my health problems that I missed out on some serious celebrating.

I now think I’m ready to celebrate!
I’ve been reviewed! Yes, a serious review and published by the Huffington Post.
Check it Out it's up on the living page now
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/living/

Here's the actual link

After I posted my reaction videos to my PET I received messages from all over THE WORLD. I love when people sign where their from on my comments. Wouldn’t you know it, I have fans in S. AFRICA!! SPAIN! And all over the US. Besos Y Abresos. Hugs and Kisses, and Much love to you all.

Wish me nothing but good things while I head to Dana Farber today for a follow-up appointment.
Today, for me, think about what is worth celebrating. MWAH.

That is so fabulous! You are a world-wide celebrity now! And we can say we knew you "WHEN."

I am happy that everyone will now not only know who you are, but will be inspired and continue to buoy your spirits...

Sending positive thoughts from Savannah,

Carol
