Baldies' Blog began originally in the UK by a 26 year old journalist with a blood cancer on a mission to inform the world about bone marrow donation.

He has since died, and I took on the cause of making cancer care more transparent for everybody.

Cancer is a disease that will touch everybody through diagnosis or affiliation: 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed and 1 in 3 woman will hear those words, "You Have Cancer."

I invite you to read how I feel along my journey and
how I am continuing to live a full life alongside my Hodgkin's lymphoma, with me controlling my cancer, not my cancer controlling me.

I hope that "Baldies' Blog" will prepare you to handle whatever life sends you, but especially if it's the message, "You Have Cancer."

Experimenting

Experimenting with copper and custom made/ individualized tags with messages! I always wanted to learn how, now I have. I have comics sans font. Fun. If I could just decide what to say..... Any suggestions? Maybe the best one will get a prize of... You guessed it, the custom piece. I think metamorphesis is to long, rebirth and rejuvenate aren't making the cut, but something to go with the gorgeous irredescent vintage purple. No folks, you can't just buy piles of these pearls anymore unless you're me and scrounge vintage palaces or Pandora. Go check out what their line of bracelets including just one and get back as quickly as your purse can carry you. I'd love to make some simple knot bracelets like theirs, be the very first of your friends to get yours, since we know we'll all have them. If you like it, you love it, and you want some more of it see www.hgracejewelry.etsy.com

These look pretty cool, Hillary, so how much are they? don't need any chains, just the copper pieces with my company name and phone #.
I'll glue them to my metal art stuff! how much for a dozen?
and Hey, they would make great Christmas ornaments hanging from the tree!

I always liked "resilience" as a one word goal in life.

I was thinking "LIVE Life" would be nice... (as opposed to just showing up)
