Baldies' Blog began originally in the UK by a 26 year old journalist with a blood cancer on a mission to inform the world about bone marrow donation.

He has since died, and I took on the cause of making cancer care more transparent for everybody.

Cancer is a disease that will touch everybody through diagnosis or affiliation: 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed and 1 in 3 woman will hear those words, "You Have Cancer."

I invite you to read how I feel along my journey and
how I am continuing to live a full life alongside my Hodgkin's lymphoma, with me controlling my cancer, not my cancer controlling me.

I hope that "Baldies' Blog" will prepare you to handle whatever life sends you, but especially if it's the message, "You Have Cancer."

Average Parents?

The average parent in USA spends 3.5 minutes a week in conversation with their children.

However, these same parents spend millions are year on their children.

Wouldn’t it be easier, cheaper, and more productive to just take a walk?

Hello Hilary,

I just wanted you to know that my heart grieves for you. I can't even remotely imagine what it is like to suffer day after day, but I do understand feeling isolated, alone & helpless. The only encouragement I can give is to remind you that nothing here is permanent. There is something better waiting for you. Your time here is not wasted. You have a very special purpose, even if you don't know exactly what that is (or even want it).

Thank you for reminding me about what is really important in this life. It is so easy for me to go through every day in an oblivious trance. And how ungrateful I can be!!

Anyways-you have a new friend if you want one.

You have been & will be in my prayers. May God grant you HIS peace - a peace without limits.

Michele
