Baldies' Blog began originally in the UK by a 26 year old journalist with a blood cancer on a mission to inform the world about bone marrow donation.

He has since died, and I took on the cause of making cancer care more transparent for everybody.

Cancer is a disease that will touch everybody through diagnosis or affiliation: 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed and 1 in 3 woman will hear those words, "You Have Cancer."

I invite you to read how I feel along my journey and
how I am continuing to live a full life alongside my Hodgkin's lymphoma, with me controlling my cancer, not my cancer controlling me.

I hope that "Baldies' Blog" will prepare you to handle whatever life sends you, but especially if it's the message, "You Have Cancer."

Hillary,
I love the hair! I had to pay good money to get that 'do. I wore it like that for three years while the children were young. It was soooo easy to care for...Wash and go hair!
Keep on truckin'. You are so beautiful you look good with any hair style!

Girl- I got a fro too. What is it with this new chemo hair? My hair looks like I stuck my finger in a socket. I mean, not complaining, any day with hair is a good hair day! But, I am just saying....
And congrats on the "tentative" remission.

You did it..a fair weather fan! We'll take it.

I keep the same faith for a full remission as RSN fans who attended games year in and year out even when the games were hard to watch.

Keep going one inning at a time!
