Baldies' Blog began originally in the UK by a 26 year old journalist with a blood cancer on a mission to inform the world about bone marrow donation.

He has since died, and I took on the cause of making cancer care more transparent for everybody.

Cancer is a disease that will touch everybody through diagnosis or affiliation: 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed and 1 in 3 woman will hear those words, "You Have Cancer."

I invite you to read how I feel along my journey and
how I am continuing to live a full life alongside my Hodgkin's lymphoma, with me controlling my cancer, not my cancer controlling me.

I hope that "Baldies' Blog" will prepare you to handle whatever life sends you, but especially if it's the message, "You Have Cancer."

Clean it up

Rally the troops. I have some organizing to do if I'm coming home on Thursday. Here is my first plea for help

Hi everybody. I've gotten great news that I could be coming home on Thurs. the 23rd. Unfortunately, this doesn't give us a great amount of time to properly clean, but I'm going to try to get it together as best as I can.

Prior to my return is DEEP cleaning:

Windows need washing with any old glass cleaner, walls could be done with just soap and bubbles or all all-natural cleaner, everything needs to be dusted. We have pledge we generally use. The linoleum flooring should probably be steamed. My parents have a shark steamer that we can use. Becky will need a couple helpers. We need the first floor completed. Ideally we could have this done to the stairwell going upstairs too. Becky has said she could do this on Weds of this week if she had some helpers.

Curtains, linens (must be cleaned in hot water).I think Alissa is working on this through serve pro.

The rug needs to be steam cleaned. Alissa is also working on this.

I don't know if I've given enough information. Let me know if you have questions. If you know anybody that would mind helping, they would be a huge blessing. I can always pay if needed. Thanks for your help.
