Baldies' Blog began originally in the UK by a 26 year old journalist with a blood cancer on a mission to inform the world about bone marrow donation.

He has since died, and I took on the cause of making cancer care more transparent for everybody.

Cancer is a disease that will touch everybody through diagnosis or affiliation: 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed and 1 in 3 woman will hear those words, "You Have Cancer."

I invite you to read how I feel along my journey and
how I am continuing to live a full life alongside my Hodgkin's lymphoma, with me controlling my cancer, not my cancer controlling me.

I hope that "Baldies' Blog" will prepare you to handle whatever life sends you, but especially if it's the message, "You Have Cancer."

Sorry to Have to tell you this. . .

Obama is going about making some picks for his right hand men and women.
Fabulous.
He’ll get to the Supreme Court eventually.
I’d like to send all our newly and soon-to-be appointed officials a message.
Roe vs. Wade was decided in the 1970’s!
It will never, ever be overturned!
Stop fighting about this!
Take the stem cells!
Federally fund stem cell research.
Clear the road so we can save ourselves.
According to our constitution, women have the right to chose.
My personal beliefs or anybody else’s are not what matters here.
Again, Roe V Wade will never be overturned.
Stop trashing perfectly good stem cells.
Instead, create a way to gather them (in alliance with Planned Parenthood?), secure as many as possible and fuel them evenly among college research centers.
Stop throwing my possible cure, and so many others source of hope, into the dumpster!
